Monday Morning Quarterback

Posted on Jul 08, 2010 at 10:33 pm under Holiday.

Sunday was a great day.  My expectations were exceeded by the great number that came and responded to the Gospel.  Holidays can be a “killer” on the local church, especially a holiday celebrating the freedoms you enjoy everyday of the year.  Many of God’s people celebrated our independence by worshiping our King, the Lord Jesus Christ.

I am grateful and thankful for our republic.  I am thankful for our troops who continue to serve our nation and protect our freedoms around the world.  Let us pause, pray, and remember the sacrifices by so many so we can have an “independence day.”

Thank you Father for blessing America!

Respectfully,
Pastor
